The TEDx program gives communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level. TEDx events are planned and coordinated independently.
TEDxFSU is now in it’s fourth cycle. TEDxFSU is planned and coordinated by members of the Florida State and Tallahassee communities, with this spring’s event a partnership between FSU’s Center for Leadership and Social Change, Student Government Association’s Office of Servant Leadership, and Program in Interdisciplinary Computing. The theme for TEDxFSU Spring 2014 is Velocity.
Velocity is defined as the rate of change of the motion of an object. Whether the object is a physical movement or a social movement, calibrating the appropriate speed and direction is necessary. Through velocity, we can be the action and energy for others as we move in our respective directions
